All I have is a little Leica D-Lux (new probably around 800.- but on ebay more like 250.- It fits into my coat/pants/dress pockets and I have it with me at all times. It’s the only camera I own and use. I can’t picture myself schlepping around heavy equipment. The lens is great and you have all manual controls should you want them. Hope that helps.
